You'll find him mostly neck deep in books, all things historical, coffee, and art - at least when he's not sitting at the floors of bookstores reading or visiting a monument. A final year undergraduate of History at Hindu College, Shankar strives to one day become an eminent cultural historian, caretaking the arts and architecture of the medieval world. An unconventional field in the Indian set up (something for which even his parents are on the fence), but he hopes to place his roots firm in studying the art and culture of this diverse land with its 5000 year old history. His interests vary from oration to quizzing, indulging at multiple national and international events - from being a national winner at the Indian Air Force declamation competition twice, to representing India at the Youth Ecosperity Dialogue held at the National University, Singapore in 2019. He also features in All India Radio's Yuvvani program for college students. Currently, he serves as the project Head for India Lost and Found's Heritage Map project for the Delhi region, and is the President of his college society Symposium - the legislative and discussion forum.
